The Nuts

The generic term “nuts” refers to oil fruits such as walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Each of these nuts have special properties, and all, if consumed in moderation: nourish, invigorate the body and mind, protect the cardiovascular system, the brain, skin, hair and muscles. It is also suitable for those who do sports, and plays an integral role for those who don’t eat meat.  

Dried fruits and nuts contain important nutrients such as unsaturated fats, proteins of high quality ‘, vitamins (such as vitamin E, vitamin B and folic acid and niacin), minerals (ie magnesium, calcium and potassium) and phytochemicals, all elements with  ‘cardio-protective’, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The researchers examined the relationship between the consumption of dried fruit, nuts, and mortality ‘, in total were linked to specific causes. Rich in protein and particularly rich in energy, dried fruits are a staple food in the diet of vegetarians and athletes.
